STAR

Launch:             1982

Summary:         The Star was based a purpose built two seater chassis using the front sub frame and the rear axle from a donor Vauxhall viva. The car was most often powered by the 1256 Viva engine although the larger Magnum engines were also used, other engine options were available.  A 1700 Ford powered Sylva Star driven by Terry Grimwood started on the front row for the first ever 750 Motor Club Kit Car Championship race. Sadly a plug lead melting robbed him of the outright win.

Current Manufacturer/Project Owner: Unknown.
