Just wondered if anyone has weighed bits of Fury bodywork?

Think it was Jek but I can't see anything relevant when I search his posts.

I got a message via LocostBuilders from JekRankin...

"I have weights from two sets of bodywory. Firstly an original set supplied by BGH, then a newer set from Furysportscars’s revamped moulds.

The Furysportscars set is much better quality but significantly thciker and heavier – possibly because the BGH set featured so many areas where the glass simply wasn’t impregnated. It really was a nasty piece of fibreglass!

Anyway, here’s what I measured with a set of bathroom scales (calibrated against my own weight!)

BGH SET
Side pod 2.5kg
Bonnet 18kg
Tub 18kg

FURY SPORTSCARS SET
New side pod 5kg
New tub 23kg
New bonnet 20kg

Jek "
