Re: Supercharged Phoenix is a go....
Talking about speed I used to have the below car, I hit the 150 to 170 mph(not sure as too scared to look at the speedo) mark on a motorway that i should not name one day. For me it was quite a scary moment and never did it again. Came back to the seven type cars for more low down speed and road holding but still end up with one that will do well over the 100 mark.

Nice McLaren Rep....We did 202MPH (on the GPS) in my RS4 in Germany, 4 up. Different feeling to doing 120 in the Phoenix.
I'm sure RAW will change the final drive and resolve the issue or indeed leave it alone and be very, very fast to 130MPH. I would love a Sadev or a Quaife 60G with paddles but that is another 5-7K on top of the small fortune I've already spent.

Simon ----- I just can't imagine ever selling that car if I'd had it
Jeff ------ I thought 180mph in a two seater open wheeler round Rockingham , just inches off the wall was damn quick but you certainly beat my top speed ever in your RS4

That is an impressive speed
not for me a bit too scared these days
. I was a bit gutted when I sold the car but it was too loud to take on track and also I did not want to break it. It ended up just sitting in the garage for sunny days and I needed to get back on the track.
bit of an offset to the thread so back on track, Jeff I will be waiting for the next report and out come of the raw car the mystery thickens

The RAW car is being mapped again over the weekend so we should know Monday what belt and pulley is required to get the boost I want.

hi, been followin this thread for awhile but my account has only just been activated.
the raw phoenix is going to have a 3.62 diff put back in, the 3.9 was only in there while waiting for the big engine. But for a road car whats the needs for a big top end?
Just one thing about your build, arent you worried about the front wheel picking up stones into the rotrex cooler?

So...it turns out I've bought a crap intercooler which is dropping 6psi over it and it can't keep the inlet temp down under 40 deg. So new intercooler is going to be the priority but....
250HP and 200 ft lb at the wheels on 8.7psi is pretty good. That equates to 290BHP and 235 ft lb at the crank.
