Wouldn't be allowed out on both days in a Weekend and then have a trackday at Brands on the Tuesday....Otherwise I would do it

Re: Hillclimb & Sprinting
Looking at the results for Debden in July...........
Gerry Cannon (Ultima) was entered -- but DNS
David Daniel (Evo) did a best of 71.6s
No others were entered -- but we know that Rob Farley is pretty mean...

Rob has been a bit quiet lately and I can only assume he is up to no good be trying to upgrade(F1 speak) his car for more speed.
It now looks like we will need wets

I have only got R888 so I may pass if it looks like rain all day, especially as I drive it to the track.

Re: Hillclimb & Sprinting
I only go sprinting as I cant and never will be able to go rallying(Iused to quite a lot in New Zealand and thats why I cant afford it now) but I still like to hang the back end of the car out occaisionaly and if its wet its even more fun

Brian , my PC is defunct so only access is via my iphone or wife's laptop plus have been away quite a bit recently ----- wedding , wine etc
The car hasn't changed either , just the auto pilot playing around with the rudder and pedals
Can't imagine what you mean David ------ mean ---
Unless you're refering to the gravel I brought back from Brands for my drive
Regarding the forcast it doesn't look great and the R888's will be on whether wet or dry . The car's set up for dry conditions so just go ' chicken ' when it's wet , especially after my tree incident at Eelmoor
I think we're all going to get pretty wet while waiting in line

Re: Hillclimb & Sprinting
I'm not sure there is a "wet" setting for a Striker -- it's sprung like a go kart whatever the weather
May have to get out the aged CR28s though...

Re: Hillclimb & Sprinting
Well , if JP's original spring rates were used that would be a wet set up with shocks set to suit. All Fury's and Stylus's ten years ago were supplied with 180 lbs front and 130 lbs rears !!!!! When I first used the fronts for the rear and bought 225lbs for the front , P.Powell and Mark Fisher thought I was crackers , as they considered JP designed cars to be fully developed ---- quote ! Many more incarnations have since followed and so did both manufacturers
