Rob,
The course is a lap and three quarters, since i dont know the corner names this is a little tricky to explain but you leave from one end of the pits all the way round then in the other end. I will upload some video later but there is no data overlay as we were having minor electrical issues that meant the recording equipment kept keeling over, this also means that we have no footage for Davids brutal attack on a cone going into the busstop!

Yep , I've spent a few surprised transits through that particular ' bus stop ' in 2007 when I organised a clubstylus trackday down there . Tim Benbow was flying around in the SSC demo RT400 in around the 46 / 47 sec's mark with me playing catchup a couple of car lengths behind , hence the ' bus stop '
We went there purely on cost but by the time you'd got there and back plus B/B , it wasn't such a good deal. They all had a great day though (18 of them with no other car makes is what attracted the road goers)

as promised here is a video from Llandow, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lj1UnabsYMA , unfortunately it is not the quickest lap we did as there is no video for that one. There will also be a video of David on Youtube but that hasnt finished up loading yet!
the two seconds i made up were probably at the "bottom end" of the circuit, i try to focus on improving the braking point and try to get the power on earlier between the corners.

You could certainly carry more speed through the chicane half way round the lap. If you did a trackday there you would find you don't need to be braking until you are going through the chicane, got to be worth a few secs.

I think it's fair to say i will need to be going back a fair few times before i am braking that late! Chris

The run dated 18th was much quicker or looked that way at least Chris. The only slightly helpful comment I could make is I always went through the ' kink ' along the back straight in 4th with a little lift but not braking then stay 4th all the way through both next 2 bends feeding as much right foot as possible and up the home straight . You make a better job of the complex than I do though --- very tidy

Agreed - you can straight-line that chicane more as well.

Yeap, the video shows you on the wrong side of the track on the approach to the chicane really. Difficult to get it right with only 6 or 7 goes during a sprint. Took me 4 or 5 track sessions till it dawned on me how to do it.
