IVA and Protrusions on bodywork

Postby MiniMojo » Tue Jul 06, 2010 10:50 am

Morning all,

I'm putting a standard mini shell on a Mojo chassis and I wondered where I stand with the seems on the mini panels regarding IVA and Protrusions on bodywork.
I was hoping not to have to de-seem the shell but will if i have to!

Comments please.

Edges have to be (I think) 2.5mm, so if the gutters arn't, then either edging or that chrome stuff they used to put on should do it. I once read that de-seaming a Mini removed 50sq in of frontal area, so it might not be a bad idea anyway.
"Low Commotion" Quite possibly the slowest Fury.........................................................................in the world.
