Phoenix Cage

Looks like I'm going to need an MSA approved cage for next year. Anyone have experience of who sells/fits them and what to watch out for?

That seems a hot topic judging by the response on here!

I thought this change had been dropped, has it made a come back then? Will it affect all sprinters in sylva based cars?

Its going to be a massive issue for loads of people that want to sprint or hill their cars, I do not think some people understand the implications of this new regulation. In fact all of the new regulations that will come into effect next year

Under 2lt must have a MSA approved rollbar and over 2lt must have a MSA approved rollcage. Mine is deemed to be over 2lt because of the supercharger equivalence (1.4)

Would a standard factory Sylva/Raw/Fisher rollcage be MSA approved?

Not yet....was working up to it...

I'm sure their Striker cage will be MSA approved and it is likely be what I will end up with.
