My car is not running as good as it should and I have only driven it twice. I will need at least a year to learn it.

I've got the Geartronics Easyshift coming (2nd hand bargain). This is full throttle upshift only. Will see how it goes and I'll look to do the full paddleshift maybe winter or spring 2016. The Paddleshift system is £4K plus fitting whereas the Easyshift cost me £450 including the Gear Display which would have cost £400 on its own.
