A crack in the head -- port number 2 and the ecu recorded a max temp of 120 degrees so I reckon that must have happened at Abingdon Carnival when most cars were arriving at the start too early out of sequence. That mean't waiting much longer with the engine running because I couldnt stop and restart the engine 15 or20 times ---- just not enough battery endurance. At one point it got to 115 degrees on the dial . Only time it's ever touched that . Normally sits 85 to 95 max .

Rob

You have too much information. That can only lead older fellows like us to worry. We have a green light (change up please) and a red light (STOP NOW!!!).

All best

The crack in the head was too awkward to weld successfully so another head has been used now and is back in the car running nicely after a few sensor gremlins  Bloody expensive but it's no good in the shed

To think Rob, all that effort and you could have just come to me, given me some money and taken away my car.
But well done and if mine does not sell then I might see you at some events next year :D
