We had the final round of the West Aust Sprint series at the RAC track adjacent to Perth airport on 26th Oct.
My Phoenix is still engine-less unfortunately. However Sylva was represented by Bob Schrader driving his Riot to a respectable place given the wet conditions (and a couple of spins) in the morning session.

This Riot was built by Andrew Baker who has recently completed & registered his J15 which makes a grand total of 3 Sylva's in Perth

Re: Riot down under
Looks nice
Did this have to go through the chassis twisting jig?
What sort of numbers did he get?

Engine is a 1.6 litre Ford Fiesta. I need to check with Andrew regarding the chassis torsion test. I didn't have to do one for the Phoenix as the chassis came from a recognised manufacturer (of course!)

Re: Riot down under
Duratech 1.6 engine in the Riot has different cams & head to standard. Also same unmodified engine in the J15.
As far as torsion testing of the J15 chassis is concerned, I understand Andrew used a 3D analysis of the chassis to determine the structural rigidity and therefore, compliance. Don't know what the figures actually were.
We (Perth Sylva's x3) are hoping to get together for a few photo's in another month or so
