Everybody’s at it

Postby dopdog » Mon Oct 27, 2014 2:12 pm

Well its my turn to join in the fit a rear facing silencer to my car group, I failed the last 2 noise tests so have gone for the drastic move of adding another box. It turns out that I have loads of room in the back of my car. First stage was to fit the rear silencer and now I just need to source some pipe and join the 2 boxes together simple! I was also thinking of adding some vents to the top of the rear body (1 above the silencer) to help with the heat transfer.

Do you think those brackets willhold? ;)

Are you going to weld up some bends to join it up or flexi like Jeff used?

The brackets will hold but will have a little brace on them as well, I am going for the flexi tube like Jeff and have found some smooth internal stuff off the bay of E. Need to get the exhaust end modified first as I can do the flexi in one piece.

Sorry, sarcasm doesn't always come across in print. I'm sure the brackets will hold... they look like they could hold the Titanic.
