Postby qwerty_100 » Thu Jul 04, 2013 7:46 am

Hi
I have a Sylva I believe to be a MK4 clubman/phoenix it was built by Stewart Taylor in about 1997 black with green chasis. I woundered if any one would know what the upper and lower front ball joints are as I would like to replace them any help would be very much appreciated .

Looks similar to my Striker which has a Chevette one on the top

Might find them cheaper than here but it's a good photo ;)

Lower one is Sherpa/ LDV. Might still have a part number written down somewhere- I'll have a look ;)

Beware of aftermarket Sherpa ball joints they are not quite the same design as the originals IIRC. Steve Hughes at http://www.furysportscars.co.uk/?p=Company will answer your queries I am sure. He will probably hold stock too.
