Phoenix cage chop

Postby matt_gsxr » Sat May 25, 2013 5:01 pm

I've been thinking that I'd prefer a rollbar for a while now.

I've always felt that the cage makes it look like someone has left a childrens climbing frame on top of an otherwise pretty car.

So, I chopped the front off, just leaving the braced rollbar.

Completely different feeling when driving, so exposed I have to wear my helmet while I get used to it!

Sorry about that false start. Corrected now. Not like you guys don't know what these cars look like with or without the front bars.

If anyone is interested in the front bit of the cage then let me know. I took it off complete so it can be reinstalled, but I doubt I ever will.
