No, Simon -- it's simply that the southern clubs seem to have banned bike engines in anything short of Sports Libre. I may have to sell the Busa and return to a car engine
220bhp 1400cc Busa with good torque would be magnificent in the back of a Jedi

Re: Hethel 5th May
Great day. 2nd in class with an 82.7sec run, beat Stephen Laing by 1.8 secs which was good but lost the class win to Pete Goulding with a 81.00, 10th overall. All in all not bad for the first time at Hethel. Similar pace to Chris Hussey and slightly ahead of David. Simon did a 78sec run to put him for the class win after Tony Beasley did FTD.
Looking at the datalogging I did 139mph max before the 2nd chicane and 133mph before the 1st chicane....pretty quick track.

Re: Hethel 5th May
Excellent day. Unbroken sunshine, and not too crowded. Also, pretty slick organization from B19MC
Excellent performances from Simon (who beat Stephen Chaplin (his "benchmark" for the day) pretty soundly, and Jeff who hustled his monster round the (new to him) Lotus test track in a very creditable time.
Will post relevant results when I have them . . . .
