Striker rear end bounce

Postby Rad334 » Fri Mar 29, 2013 5:15 pm

My live axle mk3 striker seems to bounce off the road on just the slightest lumps and bumps. I've slackened the avo shocks right off but hasn't seemed to make much difference. The cars blackbird engined now and from the receipts I can't see the springs were ever changed when the car engine to bike engine conversion was done. Would it make much difference to the rear suspension? Obviously it's lighter but mostly front end I'm guessing. It's also got anti roll bars front and rear, should I try disconnecting the rear and see how it feels. Maybe I should change all the springs, they don't seem that expensive, but I'm unsure what weight springs to get. Hope somebody can help
Simon

Thank you, there's a lot more to it than I thought.
