£k or not, I can see 250bhp in 475kg being pretty competitive, Jeff!

Striker has been gaining weight over the winter as now has anti-roll bars but weight should be about 425kg and power at flywheel was 170 last time it was checked - bike engines are so much lighter, pity the driver isn't.

I be pretty confident on trouncing you on a power per weight per pound spent figure. Bhp/Tonne/£k

t

Luckly BHP/Tonne/£k doesn't win races. Normally it is £K=BHP/Tonne

Don't think it's a linear relationship... £k rises exponentially to bhp/kg... as do breakages/km apparently ;)

My under-trays came off this morning, so I guess the engine swap has (finally) started...

£K to performance is a Log scale ;)

Good luck with the engine swap....did you find the ex-BSB engine in the back of the garage under layers of dust?

We expect to come pretty close to our targets, don't we Jeff?

Adi
Sadly my car is (relatively) cheap but I can't claim reliable. :D

£ spent and reliability don't correlate.

Unreliability does correlate with changing around things that already work (as you may be about to discover!).

You can have power, cheap or reliable....

Pick any 2.
