Senior is what we're all getting, Rob -- even that stripling Wiltshire has passed the half century IIRC.

Turns out that LMC adopted the class structure of North & Midlands' Speed championships in 2010. Prior to that, their Class 3F was "Mod Prod over 2 litre", hence the Tuscan time which was inadvertently carried over.

It also turns out that, before I was unceremoniously "dumped" into "Mod Kit, replica and space framed cars up to 1700cc" (the new Class 3F) for my windscreen infraction, nobody had ever competed in it since the change of class structure :(
Ergo, I hold a class record for having turned up.

So, ladies and gentlemen, if you have a sub-1700cc kit-car and would like your name in the record books, get yourselves up to Aintree on a dry day ;)

Faced with the choice for sprinting this weekend between a mile between cones on a bumpy airfield (Debden) tomorrow or 2.75 lap runs at beautiful smooth Lydden circuit today, Chris and I took what we thought was the obvious decision -- only to find that all our usual playmates obviously prefer Debden. Takes all sorts.

Weather was dry and pleasant. The Striker produced 6th and 8th FTD, behind five single seaters and (in my case only) a Radical. Much fun had by all.

Hope the rest of you have as good a time at Debden tomorrow.

I have just got back from Debden, a good turn out but rained for most of the day. Remember when I said I had a rain suit well it was needed. Also I am so happy. had 7 in my class but did not get a trophy from it.

because I got FTD today :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D. even beat the single seaters on full wets, I think I like the rain   it was my last run and the worst rain of the day, some of the guys decided not to run again even the FTD guy before my run.

and lastly a thank you to Rob again, we keep having our little chats and my driving style has definitely changed for the better

Thanks Jeff,
it was a different layout from last time. we started off turning left onto the main runway then a 180 back to where the roundabout should be, turned left then the rest was the same apart from no oil drums just an offset gate that meant you could launch into the right hander before the zigzag bit. it was a really fast course you would have loved it. :D

Only just back from weekend away --- WOW :!: Simon that's a stunning result , you're now officially the JPSC '' rain-man '' 8-) I've never had FTD wet or dry , that's brilliant mate :P
I can see a faint vision of a man holding a '' pot '' at the end of 2012 , if I close my eyes ;)
