Have /are you going to review the front spring poundages, what with all of the new weight?
Or doesn't matter/weigh that much?

I doubt it will make that much difference. The combined extra weight is only around 30Kg....which is less than the amount of fuel I can get in the tank at the back so I'm not concerned.

Jeff, you may have missed my earlier post but where did you get the wheel arch extensions from?

Sorry, they came off ebay. Fury sportscars will be selling something similar shortly if you wanted to contact Steve.

Steve was saying you wanted some for your J15?

In fact I spoke to Steve before receiving your reply. I thought I recognised his workshop from your pics and wondered if he had supplied them. He will be able to do them in gel coat to achieve a colour match. I am trying to decide which wheels to go for at the moment. JP uses 14" but I prefer 13" as they are both lighter and a better choice of tyres is avaiable. The problem is that the lower rear wishbone on the J15 is very wide based and with 13" wheels starts to get in the way. So its either modified wishbones or wheel arch extensions. I have a very nice set of 13" three piece wheels from a previous Fury but the offsets are all wrong so I shall speak to Image at Race Retro tomorrow to see what they can do.

14" is a bit of an odd size for tyres, I switched to 13" and am using CXRs as you can see on the photo.

For most people 14's aren't limiting for tyres Jeff.

No doubt 13's do offer more flexibility to fit tyres that you don't want, but you can get Toyo 888, Yokohama a048r, and Yokohama a021r in the 185 size, which must be nearly all the tyres you would want.

It is only when you want wide things that it starts to get a bit limiting but you seem to be able to get 888 in the 205 and 225 widths.
