Excellent on both counts.

I didn't realise it was an actual kit. I guess it will just work straight out of the box, how very sensible.

Only mongrel parts on my car (plenum from GTiR, injectors from s2000, turbo from T5-R, throttle bodies from gsxr600, sparks by Ford, etc. etc.).

Yeap, Omex have done a kit (which they share with TTS) which makes 220BHP on stock Zetec EFI with 0.6bar and then at 1bar on a set of Jenveys 300BHP. With the headwork on mine we should see over 320BHP at 1bar according to Richard at Omex.

this is what the TTS version looks like

Yes, that day he was running somthing like 400. When I moved over to let him past it was suprising he wasn't past quicker. Then I realised the rears were spinnng at close to 100mph. When his belt broke it hit my bonnet and left an S shaped rubber mark.

I think you might have the edge on me with 300horses and a long streight. I'm good to 150mph but I don't think the acceleration will match you near that speed... If I ever get my ex-BSB engine in though...

S1000RR as used/abused by Leon Haslam or a MotoGP engine?

What diff do you have to get you to 150? That is really high for a BEC.

Stock gearing on R1 is lower on R1 than on the gsxr1300, so he doesn't need an impossible diff to get that speed. Remember that on a bike the output sprocket doesn't run at crank speed even in top gear as there is a reduction gear (which will be bike dependent).

Bike Front -teeth Rear-teeth
09-2010 R1 17 47
04-08 R1 17 45
98-03 R1 16 43
99-07 GSXR 1300 17 40

According to this calc spreadsheet (http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/forum/2 ... tid=121319) An R1 with a 3.14 diff and 205/60 x 13 tyres runs out at 141mph.

Theengine is an ex Virgin Yamaha engine. Was a spare 06R1 that had only been run in on the dyno and then the 08 came out. The guy I got it from then purchased it (thats his business buying race bikes for the track day market) along with a different set of cams (less peaky power and better torque) for his own endurance race bike but never put it in his race bike. He then took off the race charging system (only charge above 6000rpm and very expensive) put back the standard one and sold it to me.
Lightened balanced crank and rods. Slight skim so higher comp' polished and ported head. Dynoed at 210 with race cams and red lined at 15,500. 190bhp with enduro cams and standard 13,7500 red line and bike exhorst. At 2000rpm less than it's built for it should hold together.
Trouble is the old one won't break!
That spread sheet has the earlier R1 ratios. Later ones are higher geared and higher reving. Running 205/60/13 and a freelander 3.21:1 diff, It hits 70 at red line in first and just short of 150 in top. I've had it past 140 and still accelerating (sat nav confirmed). I get into 4th at Llandow... just,if I get the last bend spot on.
