Hi David -- glad to hear you were doing something ;)

Richard Abraham also had a busy weekend -- he was fourth in 2A at MIRA on Saturday.

It finished: John P 50.22s (IIRC new class record), yours truly 50.25s, John L 50.27s, Richard A 52.03s. There were six others in class, but none got below 54s. 'Twas a fabulous scrap, you'd have had a great time.

Anglesey, no matter how good, is a fair trek from East Suffolk, so unfortunately won't see you there.

All best D

Hi

MIRA's a really good laugh and I thought about doing there on Saturday and Loton on Sunday but Loton's notoriously over subscribed (70+ entries turned away last weekend apparently) so thought I should enter both days to be certain of getting a run.
This clashing of local events doesn't help you plan your calender does it..

Still done about as good as I can in the Midland Speed champs now, so it's sit back and watch folk overhaul me as the events go by!

Good to see a variety of JPSC cars out at Curborough today. This was David at the Molehill, in the wet!

Thanks for the pic Roger. Apols guys (and gals) that I wasn't in the Striker -- but it was a round of the Westy championship, and the annual "Caterham vs. Westfield Shoot-Out". By a scoring system which makes Duckworth-Lewis look simple, the Westies "won" this year (unlike last year).

JPSCs were represented by David and Stuart Bickley in a very pretty BEC Phoenix, and by Emma Bennison in a neat Peugeot engined Striker -- the latter going creditably fast considering she was held in place by several (by the end, rather soggy) household cushions!

In reality it was a "single run" competition -- only the last run having the benefit of a fast drying track.

Good day had by most ............................ but still don't understand why Roger preferred his camera to his Striker :?

Some other people may be interested in the photos from Curborough last Saturday, they are at:

mostly JPSC cars and Westfields.

Roger

Some good pics there -- particularly of Emma in the pouring rain sitting on her cushions :)

Are you going to put up the link on the Westy Boardroom?

All best
