I have been a JPSC member for about three years but have kept a low profile due to my embarrassing lack of effort in getting my kit built. The week after Detling I disappeared into the garage for a few hours and in a burst of enthusiasm bolted on some of the front suspension*. It appears to have become a bit of a habit with the duration and frequency of the garage visits having increased rapidly.
Here is an album with a few pictures of progress so far.
Hopefully next time I meet Jeremy I might have a car to show him.
Cheers,
Chris
* Then almost immediately took it back off when I decided putting a bolt into a tapered hole was not good enough - cue a visit to a mate with a lathe.
I thought it was about time...

Welcome Chris,
There are a lot of slow build kit cars around, so don't feel too guilty !

Would any one be interested in a build thread? I am taking photos anyway and to be honest it might help me maintain the pace if I had some feedback.

Hi Chris
Welcome.
A well illustrated (technical information rather than pretty views) build thread is a really useful aid to others following -- IMHO it's a good idea as long as it doesn't distract you from the build itself (and as long as you can stand the heckling!).

Thanks David,
I'll put the link to my photobucket album in the first post then just link specific images as needed to illustrate a technical issue.
Cheers,
Chris
