Unfortunately Jeff we'll not be in the same class (I have only 1600 cubes) -- but look forward to meeting you.

Jeff,

There's a perfectly good BARC Midland Centre sprint at Curborough on the 2nd if you are interested -- I'd be surprised if there are not a few spaces left. Let me know if you'd like to go.

Yes, I do Barkston -- but only with RAFMSA. I've never seen the anticlockwise circuit driven with the last chicane in use (normally only the first chicane for the clockwise circuit) so no direct comparisons. However -- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wAtMGNqK5Sw should demonstrate that similar times can be done in much more modest (and less loud) machinery. And son Chris went almost a second faster in my car on the same day

Brands...................today....................

Started at 10:20, over by 12:25 (almost teenage sex syndrome)...............

But just amazing -- best sprint circuit in the country (IMHO)

JPSC represented by RobMsport, Chris and I (Striker) and a Star -- we actually had the majority of the entrants in Class 5 (Kit Cars up to 1700cc)!!!

Bring on more :D

You and Chris did brilliantly David , 1st and 2nd , maybe not in your preferred order but a great team result :) My performance was pretty dismal so embarrassed to collect 1st in class  Very exciting circuit though although beach combing wasn't in my plan nor extra laps by stealth :? Bit like my school reports --- must try harder :P

I'll be marshalling at N.Weald on the 19th Sept after a day at the Goodwood Revival on the Friday 17th practice day. I'll look out for you '' JEFF W '' if you're there. Next outing for me is Debden on the 3rd Oct , where I last sprinted 6 years ago then marshalling again at Lydden on the 23rd Oct . Over 10 years I've had the support of volunteer marshalls while sprinting so it's pay back time now I don't sprint on a regular basis.

Brands was, as David describe absolutely, fantasti. it really was like being a kid in a sweetshop getting to drive some of the best corners there are anywhere, though the team principal (mum) was there and she described our attempts into Paddock as Whoosy (at least i think that is what she said) :? so there is only one thing for it... go back next year.

RobMSport it was great to meet you and look forward to seeing you at Debden on the 3rd October. JeffW will you be there too?
