Back to Curborough - don't know what a good JPSC time is for two laps, but managed a 64.4 on Sunday. OK so the lap record for my class is below 60, but it was 16th fastest overall and first in class. :P
:?: Would it be worth having a page on the forum to record JPSC efforts in hillclimbs and sprints? I'd be happy to maintain it if givern access to the server page necessary?

We could add another sub-forum called "Results" or something similar. Anyone could then post their times etc.

This would be the easiest way I reckon.

Pete

Perhaps just start a thread for each of the venues as an when the next event , Don't date the title, then either full results from major events or individuals results could just be posted. would need to be like the Top gear lap board and state Dry/moist/wet track etc..

This would be a good idea also from the point of view of seeing which clubs are running the events and where spaces may be available.

Paul.

If it helps, here are the best times the family has recorded at various circuits in MSA sprints with our 1600cc road-going Striker (aeroscreen, List 1B tyres), followed by my view as to the quality of the time as a benchmark for an equivalent car:

Croft 87.33s Guy -- fair benchmark
Aintree 48.70 Guy -- fair
Goodwood 91.84 Guy -- storming run, difficult to beat
Cadwell 89.40 Guy -- you'll be going well to beat
Hethel 67.94 Chris -- you'll be doing well to beat
Pembrey (1.5 laps) 115.08 Chris -- fair to fast benchmark
Curborough (1 lap) 33.09 Chris -- fair to fast
Curborough (2 lap) 60.10 David -- fair
MIRA 50.76 David -- fair
Llandow 82.34 David -- poor; we can't seem to click at Llandow!

Thanks Rich for the pics of Chris and me (Guy is Chris' brother -- now racing another Striker with 750MC); it was great to meet you. Keep in touch, and I hope you might be inspired to take your car sprinting next year.

Pleased to say that Chris lowered the family record round Llandow to 80.56s, which is perfectly respectable.
