Team Marmelade are off (slight exaggeration, it's only about ten minutes drive) to RAF Woodbridge on Sunday with Borough 19 MC. Once again Nigel Fleming is the only JPSC support against the sundry Westies, Caterhams, Luegos, Elises and Exiges. Of course, the usual mob of Porsches and Imprevos will be there, with one Ferrari.

I'll try to persuade Chris to update www.marmelade.co.uk with the season to date.

Wish us luck....

Pete

He may need an entry pass -- which, if he'd like to go, I can give him. Just drop me a note.

Thanks Paul. We've got the very heavy Tran-X SL72 back in at the moment. That should withstand even our ministrations

Had a great day at the CTCRC Goodwood Sprint , won my class at 2.4 sec's quicker than the April event , so feeling like a cat with the cream :D 95.48 sec's standing start . Met a guy who has a RIOT and may try an ARB from me --- that could be an interesting excersise

Good day at Woodbridge. Interesting layout for an airfield circuit. Weather stayed good for the whole (two practice and three timed runs) event. Class A5 was subject to the usual reliability gremlins with Dave Massey (Bug) struggling with improvised modifications to his gear-change mechanism, and Martin Hepworth (Westy) sidelined by a failure of his fuel injection pump whilst well placed. Nigel Fleming (Striker) and Roger Legg (Caterham) were locked in a personal battle which saw them only 0.03s apart after the second timed run; Nigel eventually taking it by a smidge.

I'll try to post the results when they are available. If both camera and data-logger decided to work today, Chris might well put up a link to a lap on video.
