No not at all, Jeremy did all the hard work with mounts and getting the cable gearchange to work.

I'm sure Jeremy does.

OK been some progress this last week or so. £130 spent on braided hoses and now have all the fuel, brakes and clutch fully plumbed.

You might know that I've had a bit of a problem getting the clutch sorted. The Ford slave cylinder has a plastic pipe which runs into an ally adaptor which then plugs into the slave cylinder. My problem was going from the hard cupro pipe to the plastic!! Anyway went to see Think Automotive and they cut, tapped and then fitted an adaptor to the ally bit and then supplied me with a very sexy hose. A very elegant solution!

All the hard brake pipes are done and the flexis fitted as are the fuel supply and return pipes running from the chassis to the pressure reg, the fuel rail and then back to the chassis.

Other than the pipes we've done a little more panneling and the back of the car is pretty much sealed off from the cockpit now.

Jobs to do at the back now are to run the charging and starting circuits and think about the exhaust. We can then fit the back body and get some lights sorted!!

Then to the front to finish off there. First job will be the clutch and brake reservoirs. I've got a nice Brembo one for the clutch and have ordered the standrdish dual one with the level indicator from Car Builder Solutions.

More soon, here's the pics

Slowly, certainly not as easy to know what to do next as you get on with the build.

Hi Guys,

OK progress is slow but at least it progress!!

Rear body fettled into position, still more to do. Done a little more playing with the centre tub too.

Fitted the rear lights that I collected from Jeremy last weekend and have been playing with an exhaust that he lent to me to try too!

Looking good. Don't worry about the progress being slow, it makes me feel better about how little time I have spent on my R1OT build!

Rich.
Looks great, having seen the photos in CKC and yours I think the rear looks very Marcos(which is a good).
