Thanks Jeff.

OK done a bit today. Taken us most of the day to make the top cover for the centre tunnel. Measured, templated, cut, hole made for the gearstick, drilled and rivnutted.Sounds easy huh??

We've also got the closing panel for the other pod done but that had to be made in two halves due to the strengthening support for the engine mount.

Finally we've drilled the rear bulkhead where the handbrake cable goes through and inserted a small bit of silicon hose to protect the cable.

Here's the pics seems a shame to have it powder coated!!

Hi Richard,

Thanks for providing further inspiration for me to get on with my kit car build and stop dithering!

My main dithering point at present is engine choice.

I was thinking initially of going the standard 16 zetec routte and then spening some money tweaking it, but your route of starting with a 150hp duratec is quite attractive.

Do you think this engine choice added much to the complexity of the build?
