I'm off to Cadwell next monday for the day with EasyTrack. Anybody else going? I noticted a couple of Strikers and a Pheonix amongst the entrants.

Re: Cadwell 6th July
Well I spent the morning failing to get to grips with the circuit and getting mugged by Clio's and sheltering from the rain in MK's circus tent (full of clowns according to some).
Then was just starting to get it sussed after lunch when I came over the blind crest on the back of the circuit at 115mph to find torrential rain in the braking zone. Got away with it and just about got back to the pits before the car filled up. Some interestin attire resulted after that because people got so wet, like JUST a rain suit and one in a duvet cover toga.
Then when it dried up I had a 45min session when I was going pretty well. Then it rained again as I came in with a dry fuel tank. Once it dried out I went out for the last go and the track was drying but I took it easy (or I thought I did). End of the first lap and I lit up the back wheels cresting the "mountain", spun it, caught it, lost it, almost caught it, got on the 30' grass bank and slid down and kissed the barrier. Looks like the bonnet is trashed but not a lot more. Could have been worse.
I think the weather could be described as "changable"! Did 100 miles despite the weather breaks.

Ouch! Salvageable bonnet or completely trashed?
Did the new corner splitters make much of a difference pre bump?

Looks trashed. There's cracks all over it.
Didn't fit the splitters. Looked odd because the bonnet isn't symetrical...even less symetrical now!

Heres the damage. Don't know enough about GRP to know how fixable it is.
