My dad Revel

Postby ruaricoles » Sun Sep 14, 2025 5:26 pm

Hello all,

Quite a few of you have met my dad Revel over the past 30 years or so of us being involved with JPSC cars; just to let you know therefore that he sadly passed away on Friday. It was peaceful and my mum was with him, can't ask for much more than that. And in his last few days of illness, whenever he had the energy he still just wanted to talk about cars.

There's no rush but I'll need to find a new home for the X/flow Stylus I built with him in the late 90s; it hasn't turned a wheel for many years so will need some re-commissioning. If anyone knows a good home for it let me know, it won't have much value but I'd much rather see it put back on the road than stripped for parts or a chassis number.

Best wishes all,

Ruari

Please accept my condolences, your Dad was a real gent. I'm sure all the car fettling and driving time you shared was treasured by you both.
I remember meeting you both several times at club events in the early 2000's and visited your Dad in Oxford, to buy a 4 speed box off him.
Thoughts are with you and your Mom.
