Fury - measurement between rocker pivots?

Postby Lancaster_bob » Sun Apr 27, 2025 7:42 am

Morning All,

Can anyone measure the distance between the L + R rocker pivots please on a standard Fury please, with mk2 escort uprights and the fabricated rather than tube-type rockers? I'm trying to reduce the camber as its always been excessive, but I run out of adjustment on both the lower ball joints into the wishbones, and now also on the tie rod ends.

I've seen mention of some chassis being sold with x2 sets of rocker holes in the chassis mounts, inners for Sierra, outers for escort. Mine only has one set, but I'm wondering if they are for sierra uprights + rockers?

All the best,

Rob

Just in case anyone else needs to answer the same question, I re-drilled the upper pivots to 670mm spacing. When combined with escort-derived uprights and fabricated (rather than tubular) rockers, I can now get the camber adjusted spot-on and with 3mm toe-in. Track is a little wider, although not a fair comparison as previously had lots of camber. Tread just about under the wheel arch lip, and handling is much improved.
