From memory the dashboard connector was one of these https://www.rapidonline.com/neutrik-5-p ... et-20-2337 but it was black, can't see the black one on that website now. On the cable I had one of these https://www.rapidonline.com/neutrik-nc5 ... ck-20-2064

The cable itself was cut off an old phone but was this sort of spec https://www.rapidonline.com/vex-coiled- ... le-70-6252

Even with a QR with electrical contacts you need the curly cable its just hidden behind the dash. Unless you can find a suitable slip ring connector but then I never found one with 10 circuits that I would need for sensible money.

Thanks for that.
But now you got me thinking about doing what you've done second time round and making the connector part of the QR.

How did you do the Lemo connector. Did you get a threaded one and screw it into the spline on the column ?

My QR came with the connector, it's from Go Race. The pins on the lemo are tiny, you need to work with 30awg wires which is very difficult and took a few attempts to get right.
