I suggest you post some pictures so people can see what you are referring to.

Hi Stephane,

A quick search shows that there are few places on Ebay here that are offering standard springs and shock absorbers such as

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-Vauxhall-Chevette-Saloon-Genuine-Monroe-Gas-Matic-Front-Shock-Absorbers/362488000334?hash=item5465f7ef4e:g:TKAAAOSw5Xpb7cMi:rk:1:pf:0#shpCntId.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Chevette-1300-1-2-Front-Coil-Spring-1975-1985/312315673307?fits=Model%3AChevette&hash=item48b776fadb:g:6NsAAOSwbopZPkIP:rk:5:pf:0

You can ask if they will ship to Belgium or there may be someone on Kapaza.be or 2dehands.be who can supply for the Kadett?

It would be really unlikely for a Phoenix to be using Chevette shocks/springs even if it was using a Chevette upright unless I've gone completely nuts (which is possible)

I don't think you've gone nuts Jeff - well not completely anyway :D
I couldn't really see how there would be enough space to fit the shocks in their original orientation but the OP did ask for original equipment :?

As you say - a picture would help enormously

yes guys, you are rigth. The shocks present on the phoenix are not the standard as seen on the bay.
I'will have to find shocks similar as those on a caterham.
Neverthenless many thanks for your follow up. I know how to handla this now.
Best regards and tahnsk again

I bought some protech for my striker a few years ago, I'm sure they'll ship abroad.

i´m also a big fan of protech...already purchased a set of shocks for my chevette-upright phoenix (correctly named syvla clubman mk4)

and they definately ship abroad.

you just need to give them the shock length (extended), upper and lower kind of fixing.

or you contact procomp...they supply re-valved protech shocks...improveed valving for such light cars as westfield, caterham or sylva.
