Would it be possible to re-chassis a car and then re body it ? is that a different type of inspection and not the full IVA
I think there is a Ford RS200 replica where the parts are attached to the Toyota MR2 body as to avoid any inspections.
Anyway, sad to see the end of the kit car, but it is true that the UK really was an anomaly in the western world.
But let's be fair, there are plenty of kit cars out there with a license plate that you could completely restore if you like to build from scratch.
In other words, LET'S START RECYCLING!!
