Have you had chance to have a proper look yet. Hope it's a case of looking worse than it really is.

Actually I think it is worse than it looks. The car has been forced into the end of the trailer against the straps, the nose/splitter is mashed, the mounts for the bonnet are gone. The rear tub is in about 6 parts and not attached in places, the side pods are damaged as well. On top of that the car was in gear in the trailer so the diff/prop/box/clutch/engine has taken a hit and at least one of the Force wheels is damaged.

The trailer is a real mess, the frame and cover are beyond saving and the bed is twisted with the centre section broken. The rear lights are mashed and the ramps are bent. The tow hitch no longer moves so there is permanent braking.

fricken hell that sounds like a lot of potential unknown damage.

I was lucky when i was shunted as i was punted down the road. the rear tub was pushed forward that the doors wouldnt open. The fact that i was rolling helped.

Its not nice having a poorly car. :(

Sorry to see that, that's very bad luck after all the effort you put into the car over the years.

Keith.

Other parties insurers have rang to say they accept full liability. Need to contact them and sort out the next steps.
