Wide Arch Phoenix is done

Car is back, sadly the colour I told them to use is somewhat off what the gel-coat was so it is more orange in patches. Rob Johnstone Motorsport have done a great job in a short time.

OK, set fire to the car, apart from that it was interesting.

The Penske shocks are on but they are too long. I'm getting shorter top mounts so I can lose 20mm off the length and allow the car to sit lower.

Alan Mugglestone did the Penske shocks and set the car up on the Friday then did the driver coaching/analysis on the Saturday at Blyton. Really interesting to get data/video feedback from someone with Alan's CV (he has run cars at Le Mans as well as coaching F1 drivers, he also designed the G50 Ginetta). He said of all of the drivers there, from the first lap, I was closer to the limit of the car than anyone else but....the car was rubbish on the brakes. This was down to the toe change under braking. So I have a new set of front wishbones being made by Fury Sportscars which will be all rosejointed and this will remove the toe change.
