Had a fun day out at the last of the season sprint at Castle Combe today. Ended up with 3rd overall and 1st in class with a 76.39 sec run

The run from the pit lane to 120 mph took 10.04 secs, which isn't bad at all ....!
Caught up with some JPSCers who had stopped by to pick up the old exhaust. Owen seemed taken with the idea of sprinting his Phoenix in the next year or so.

From a dirty pitlane, on cold tyres, round a bend and then up an incline to Avon rise.

Looking good.
Is that Jeff Kershaw in his Sierra starting in front of you? Last I heard he'd blown the centre diff to pieces... that's what you get for putting 500ldft through it.

Nice guy... loon behind the wheel. He spun in front of me at Bruntingthorp when he saw me in his mirror so pushed a bit harder through the chicane (in his road car because the Sierra was broken... 400bhp Scooby). We both thought it was funny Our passengers, not so much

Have you got any more events or is that it for this season? More mods planned this winter?

That's it now. Lots of work to do over the winter, have to make the car wider to take 8J and 10J wheels.
