0-100MPH part deux

Postby jeffw » Mon Jun 22, 2015 10:50 pm

I was competing at the Stowe circuit at Silverstone on Sunday. The start was a straight line (for a change) and I had the opportunity of warm tyres as I had a 2nd driver with me.

0-100 time has come down from 7.87 sec at a dull Goodwood to a pretty quick 7.17secs at Silverstone. Now if I can find the time for the flatshifter would can go a bit quicker still

What was the difference between your warm tyres and the cold ones of your second driver?

Around 0.7 sec. I assume it would be more on harder compound tyres. When I did my run the tyres where slightly warm rather than cold or hot as it took 5-10mins between runs due a red flag.
