spring weights on a fury
I am having the suspension set up on my fury and would be interested on peoples thoughts on spring weights. Car is a live axle Z20let car. It is currently set up for track and is running 180 lbs springs front and back, the car is very stiff on the road and when we had it on the flat floor adding my 100kg weight to the drivers side made no difference to the ride height at the front and 10mm at the rear. I am confident with the guy that's doing the work, and he has put all the figures into some magic formula and come out with 120 lbs springs front and back. At the moment the car will be used 100% on the road. Searching what other people have got 120 lbs seems very light?

I ran 210 front and 180 rear on my striker with a car engine for sprinting, it worked really well. I would not think you need to go lower? I may be wrong.
For my fury it runs 300 front and 275 rear with a bike engine in
might be a bit hard

I run 225 front and 180 rear. 120 all round will be very soft. I think Fury Sportscars do 180/120 standard but best to ask Steve.

front is escort based or sierra (i guess escort as the sierra would have an IRS?)

...and that helps how?
I think JP originally advised something around 160f/130r but most have found that to be too soft. Fronts in the 200-20 range and rears 160-80 seem common on both CEC/BEC. Mine are 210/180 with an R1

Re: spring weights on a fury
I'm picking the car up tonight so will hopefully get to play over the weekend, and see how it is.
I am trying to get hold of an ARB for the front, and looking at the forum everyone seems to say Rob is the man to go to, so have sent him a PM.
Thanks for all the advice.
