Recommend accident damage repairer in Warwickshire / West Midlands

Postby NeilEverett » Mon Apr 20, 2015 10:06 am

Unfortunately I was involved in an accident on Friday which has caused some damage to the Mojo:

- 3 damaged wheels
- Bent front track rod
- Cracked / delaminated fibreglass

I am looking for recommendations for places in my area that could carry out the work, who will be familiar with dealing with a kit car. I have already been recommended Option1 in Bromsgrove but fear they could be quite expensive so would like some other choices if possible.

Cheers!

Hi Neil,

Can't help with the repairers but hope you're alright and Mojo not too difficult to fix.

Keith.

You could try Nigel Keats (Cougar Engineering) in just south of Redditch.
He specialises in Kit cars (does most stuff on my Striker), and is very good on all things mechanical. I've no experience of him on fibre-glass.
He will probably ask you to get the major bits (e.g. wheels) as he likes to stay below the VAT limit.

Thanks David, now sorted with quotes for fibre glass, plan to do the mechanical bits myself, just waiting for insurer to give the go ahead...
