Snap! They either need to change the date of the race or the other halfs birthday! Where there's a will there's a way. Keep us posted. Chris's Quattro is just off to paint so should be all ready if the trip goes ahead.

Take her with you, carefully describing it as a "surprise birthday trip she will remember".... She may actually like it. My wife has been to the last 2, and is keen to go again. We didn't travel in the sylva though, I'm not sure she would go for that.

Tried that last year and although she enjoyed lots of it, I'm not sure she'd appreciate it again! Sat in the car waiting for the ferry wasn't quite the evening restaurant she was hoping for!

Has SWMBHO changed her mind about Le Mans this year yet ?
Looks as though the Quattro will be ready, just in the paint shop now and ready to be finished.
