I saw this car at Peter Powell's Specialist Sports Cars premises , when I went for a demo drive in the factory Stylus around the Guildford country roads in 1997 . He , or maybe you were visiting too and there was a green Stylus being completed in the lock up .
Maybe it's registered as a Striker because the chassis is '' Striker '' ie. outer rockers with Chevette joints :?:

I think it's more near to the Fury, front rocker arm are over top tube chassis.

Bear in mind all Sylva chassis had the same principles! Therefore look very similar.

Fury and Stylus have those lower chassis diagonals in the front whereas the Phoenix and Striker have parallel cross tubes on the lower front chassis . The Stylus doors being deeper also meant that the two 50x25 mm's chassis rails along the sides are closer together on a Stylus , making rocker towers necessary but on a Fury those rails are wider apart so the rockers virtually get mounted directly on top of the top rail. I've stared into many Sylva FRONT chassis through the bonnet :)
As a matter of interest I met with Dave Huggett last weekend who has Jeremy's first Stylus number 1 . A green very tidy little car too and still sporting it's tuned crossflow engine . He bought it from Jeremy after Peter Powell had it on loan , whilst building his own red 'demo' Stylus , to start Specialist Sports Cars ---- small world aye ;)
