Hi all,
seeming as my first question went so well, im asking another.
Where would be a good place to get an LSD and heavy duty half shafts from for an English axle.
Would it be wise to go for a Quaife setup with 16 splines for extra strength.
I was thinking about something like these
http://www.quaife.co.uk/shop/products/qaf4z
http://www.quaife.co.uk/shop/products/qdf5z16
or is there a better LSD diff to use?
Thanks
Good place to buy LSD and half shafts.

I have a ATB in what is a stock English axle. It works well for me but other people prefer the Trans=X LSDs. Why are you upgrading the axle?

Its the last thing on the list to do.
I have done the engine (Dunnell 215) and the gearbox (BGH E8) and now feel that I should do the axle as it is probably the weak link.
That is once i get the clutch sorted, it started to slip when I'd boot it, so i started to have to be very progressive with the throttle.
Done the TranX ones have to be rebuilt every year or something?

If you go Quaife then the two piece with bearings on normal English splines is fine . I ran standards till one bust in 2006 and they were old in the first place . They put up with 6 years sprint standing starts so couldn't complain . The Quaife have an enormous self locking nut to hold the flange onto the shaft so need marking and checking for movement . I now use locktite even though the are self lock.
