Fisher Fury Wanted!

Postby Ed_Hogan » Wed Sep 14, 2011 12:36 pm

So, as the title suggests, I'm looking to buy a Fisher Fury.

Preferably BEC but may consider CEC if there's a lot of horses hiding under the bonnet ;)

I'm located in East Sussex but willing to travel for the right car.

So....show me what you've got

Regards,

Ed

I saw this a couple of weeks ago on LocostBuilders...

Looks fairly tidy from the pictures, but they're not recent.

Thanks for the reply. However, it appears to have been sold. The link to the last pictures show the new owner collecting her :(

Edit: I should also add that my preference would be for an aero screen with no doors

I think they've put a link to some old pictures the previous owner took of the current owner collecting the car. The post isn't by the current owner/seller but by a friend and those were the only pictures he had of the car.

Try Pistonheads, there were a couple of Bec Fury's on there last week. Reasonably priced as well :D

Had one eye on Pistonheads for the last week or two but nothing has come up. There was one that I was interested in but I missed out and it sold pretty sharpish

Ed, forgive me if I'm stating the obvious, but with your preferences you might also want to look at the Phoenix.

Yes my mistake I should have said really that I would also consider a Sylva Phoenix. There's a red one on Pistonheads with a 4.0 TVR V8 that I like the look of however, it's priced fairly high (£9k IIRC)

I know of an ex-racer car Phoenix that is for sale. STM with a 4AGE engine on carbs.

Not sure how much but I can put you in touch with the owner.

v8 in Phoenix. It doesn't get any better than that (except maybe with twin turbos).

£9k sounds cheap compared to the future tyre bills.
