Hi all,

Offers invited for a number plate that looks just like "R1 Fury". It always gets a lot of attention on my R1 Fury (also for sale), especially with the spacing and italics that I've had on my plates (for show use only, of course). ;)

Any questions please contact me.

Thanks,

Ian

Always said I wanted it so I'd better show interest. I'll e-mail you later.
Any idea how much you want for it? I've got a couple of washers and a button in my pocket.... ;)

Hi Adrian,

Buttons and washers hey?!? That's not going to get you very far! I've had another expression of interest, and obviously with the car also being for sale a potential purchaser might want both.

Look forward to your mail.

Ian

Hi Lee,

Looking at a GKD Evolution, subject to the new bonnet design which I haven't seen yet. Would be 2.8 BMW straight six, good for 230hp or so. With boot, windscreen, doors, carpet, roof, etc. I'm getting soft in my middle age!!! Don't like the current bodywork, but I do like the idea of BMW power. Was looking at 3.0 M3 engine, but it adds quite a bit to the cost for an extra 60hp. 230hp in 800kg will still be quick, just not like 160hp in 460kg (manic  ).

You been using the Phoenix much? Only been out twice since the trip. I took mine for MOT yesterday and amazingly it only failed on illegal number plates! Trip to Halfords tonight to get some correctly spaced ones, attached with velcro of course.

Cleaned the car yesterday and lowered the suspension 'post Alps'. Now having second thoughts about selling, it looks great when it's clean and it's stupidly quick when you haven't driven it for a while. Had hoped for interest on here but no takers so far.

Cheers, Ian
