[Updated: 26/10/2019]
Hi all,
I'm looking for Jeremy Philips car for sale - ideally with inboard suspension but not a BEC or project. My preference is a Striker or Phoenix but open to Furys and Mojo-types as well.
I would also welcome advice on where else to look but regularly I’m scanning various websites including Pistonheads, Locostbuilders, eBay etc.
All the best.
Mike

Geez, they double in price once they cross the pond to Holland. What spec is your dream Striker, if you don't mind me asking? 4AGE 20v IRS LSD is as good as it gets, isn't it?

Re: Wanted: Striker
Hi.
I don’t really have a dream spec in mind, it’s a balance of affordability, spec and assurances. The sort of thing that really peaks my interest are:
* a mk2 based Striker (ie inboard sus)
* running a relatively modern, light engine such as 4age, kseries, zetec, zetec se, duratec
* about 135bhp at the wheels /155-160 at the fly
* LSD
* well geared (long 1st)
* tidy build, good providence, build history etc.
* a nice and conscientious owner
Nice to haves would be things like disc all round, full roll cage etc.
I’m trying to be flexible and realistic given the limited market. Strikers are my preference but a similarly spec’d Furt would be of interest too, but so would a Westfield (except the price), Tiger R6 etc; but Striker tops the list.

Re: Wanted: Striker
I was referring to OP and his "Only reason for selling is I was offered 1st refusal on another Striker that i had always wanted and have bought"
but thanks for the answer Smorsey The UK Striker market didn't strike me as limited but maybe it is. the affordable ones get exported to Holland, that doesn't help either, but brexit will end that surely.

Re: Wanted: Striker
My bad. Sorry.
“Limited” in the sense that I have found about 5 Strikers for sale currently. 2x Pinto, 1x BEC and 2x 4age - so only two of potential interest.

So I’m still looking and interested to hear from others.
Paul has been really helpful and a gent.Thank you. But the car needs a few bits sorting and a MOT to allay a few of my concerns before if I make the 8 hr round trip to see it, which Paul appreciates. When that happens, we don’t know he’s he busy with a house renovation too.
