I've got my 20v 4AGE powered Striker advertised as it's just not seeing the use it deserves anymore - https://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds ... 0v/9720077

I'm the original owner / builder and have gradually improved it over the years - the Caterham 6 speed gearbox was probably the biggest single change to the way the car drives, but the suspension makes a huge difference too. I was never happy with the original RAW exhaust or the sock filters on the throttle bodies so while I had the engine out following an electrical short I replaced those too and had the Omex ECU remapped to suit - the power difference is noticeable above 5000 RPM compared to the standard install.

Hi David. I have seen your car advertised for a little while. I’m afraid it’s little over budget for me. Thanks.

No need to apologise, you clearly have good taste in cars :D Paul has been a real gent so I suggest you give him a shout, if you haven’t done so already. Depending on your degree of compromises, I can point you at a Pinto Striker and Fiat twin cam one that were not to my taste.

I have now updated the original thread /post to broaden the search.

Thanks.

Mike

Well, I bought a Mojo that was advertised on Gumtree. The ad was not well seen, so I suspect not many people came across that car.
It's not all great news, since the car broke down on me on the way home -_- Anyway, good luck with the search, no competition from me for the time being :p

That's correct! It has quite a few issues though, it runs like crap and overheated on the way home because a bracket broke, losing tension on the belt that drives the waterpump. I hope once that is sorted, it'll be okay for a while, I really think it has some potential.

Congrats.

I’m still looking - broadened my search to any JP car but avoiding projects.
