My Caterham is for sale and I'm on the lookout for a Fury or Phoenix to take it's place in my garage.
I think I want a Spyder body with Le Mans bonnet and aero screen but I'll look at anything.
With a budget of £7000ish I hope I'll be able to bag something nice. If you know of anything coming up please do let me know.
Thank you.
Christian.

Re: WANTED - FURY or PHOENIX
If you can make it to Stoneleigh show this weekend there should be plenty there to get a good look at (maybe some for sale). That way youll get a better idea of the variations of design and build. The club is on pitch 10a, under the mobile phone mast.
Unlike caterhams every one is different. Over the years the design has evolved plus quite a bit on the kit beyond chassis and running gear is a bit of a blank canvas with builders coming up with differing solutions.

Thank you. Sadly I won’t be able to make it this weekend due to family visiting.
Are there any owners in Dorset out there I could chat with?

I'm from Dorset, and popping down to Bournemouth next weekend hopefully in the kit (weather dependent). Happy to show you around mine if you're near there.

Amazing, thank you! - I'm over in Wool if that's close to you at all, I'm more than happy to jump in the car and meet somewhere?

Re: WANTED - FURY or PHOENIX
I'm unable to attend the show this weekend (parents visiting) but I wonder if someone going might keep an eye out for any Fury's for sale and be able to pass me any details?
I realise this is a big ask and I've only just appeared here and I'm after a favour!

I've done about 20,000miles in company with Jims Fury over the last 10 years and it's a very well sorted car.

Re: WANTED - FURY or PHOENIX
It’s a really nice looking car and the videos are great but it’s not quite the configuration I’m lookibg for.
It’s very much at the top end of my budget too and leaves me little room for any additions or work.
Looks blooming fast though!

Re: WANTED - FURY or PHOENIX
My search is over - I've put a deposit down on a lovely Fury Spyder.
Built in 2013 it was supposedly the first Fury to pass IVA after Steve Hughes took over production of the cars. It's an IRS chassis fitted with a 2ltr silver top Zetec running on bike carbs and it sounds and looks wonderful!
Thank you to everyone for their advice and help. I hope to meet some of you in the very near future.
