Hi All,

Im looking at clearing up the garage a bit and to actually buy some tool storage
and move away from shoving stuff in the old fridge thats in the garage

So question is whats good out there brand wise? is there anything i should avoid. Ideally looking for more draws so things can be set out and not just thrown in 3 tools deep.

many thanks

David

Lots of chinese ones on Amazon/ebay that will be good enough for your use. They're all knock-off copies of course and they'll have lower quality parts used but at a fraction of the cost...

Go for as many shallow drawers as you can get. Deep drawers just get stuff piled on top of each other and you won't need many for bigger stuff... cupboards are even worse.

Fridges in workshops should be strictly kept tool free and just for beer!

Halfords have half price on all metal storage at the moment, I have one of their professional base units and an intermediate draw unit and the quality is as good as my old Snap On tool chest.

I've seen/heard lots of recommendations for the Halfords pro' range. Think they've got a lifetime guarantee as well.
