Westfield (should anyone feel the need)
1990 SEi (narrow independent) BRG rolling chassis. Q registered. Two owners from new -- both well known in the club ambit.
What's not there:
-- engine (and ancillaries, plumbing, exhaust),
-- gearbox,
-- prop-shaft,
-- battery,
-- oil pressure and coolant temperature gauges.
What is there:
Hard and soft springs (400/200 and 250/150)
Avo shocks
4.4 LSD
Westfield alloy front hubs and 4-pot brakes
Polo radiator
9 litre fuel tank, plumbed via a separate 1 litre swirl pot to high pressure pump
Return fuel circuit to swirl pot
Front and rear ARBs
Full cage (Plays-Kool)
Quick rack
Aerodynamix aero-screen
Lightweight bonnet
Bolt in extra chassis and diff-carrier stiffening
RaceLidz FIA driver's four point harness (2017)
V5c (registered as a Westfield)
MOT certificate valid until 04.04.2014
This car has been used for sprinting, hence the specification -- don't worry though, the chassis is straight. In fact it's a pretty well set up chassis (thanks due in large part to Gary Smith). Running a 1600cc VX engine, and piloted by an OAP, it has not been beaten in class at Borough 19, TWMC and RMC sprints in the last three years.
It could also be returned to road spec. In addition to the above, it comes with a full factory screen, with wiper and washer systems, and side-screens, a normal cruising fuel tank (not compatible with the diff-carrier bracing), a shell driver's seat, and a boot box (which would need to be cut for the cage). For the road, though, a good tidy up would be called for
The car is for sale with 14x6" Minator wheels fitted with 185/60 Avon CR28 rubber (with lots of tread).
You would need to collect (trailer, of course) from Suffolk.
Asking £4200.
