Donington show

Postby adithorp » Tue Aug 21, 2012 2:17 pm

Donington show's coming up on the 1-2 Sept.
Is the club going to be there?
Who's going?
Who's camping?

It apears that the original plan to locate the clubs in the track centre has been abandoned due to the ground being in a poor state. Clubs are now going to be outside near the exibition halls and not far from the camping area.

Well, given the response, I guess I'll be on my todd!

Following the links here... http://us5.campaign-archive1.com/home/? ... 449292c395 it looks like the club isn't booked for a pitch.

May be too late...we're all on or just been on Hols! I have just mailed Ian Stent to try and book some JPSC space.
Looking unlikely we'll have any official presence though!

If it turns out not to be too late to get an assigned pitch then at least those who do go can park together. If not we'll just have to find someone else to adopt us :)

I guess this is one of those occations where one of these... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Coleman-Event-S ... B000YEMOM4 would be handy instead of the big tent (as we discussed at Stoneleigh?). Then it could be taken along in a kit car along with a couple of banners to give the club a presence without the need for someone to take a full loaded tin-top.

I'll hopefully be there, parked up on the RHOCaR stand as usual

Ok,
There should be a JPSC area, may not have a sign and I am waiting for the organisers to tell me where it is.
Details when I get them.
Edd.

All,
Response from Ian Stent below. Hopefully a marshall will be able to tell you where to go! Hope the weather gets better!
Edd

Hi Edward
I can't supply a plan since we've never put the clubs in the current location, so are laying the stand position out tomorrow. On entering the donington site you will be guided to the club area and your club position, which will be clearly signed.
All the best
Ian

I will be there on Sunday but in my Alfa turbo as the Fury is having the rear of the chassis remade by Procomp at the moment.

See you there

Jim
