Sorry Matt, miss-understand. Dan is travelling on his own (well apart from the delightful Gemma in the passenger seat). My weekend has already been re-allocated to other tasks once the car failure became common knowledge with my wife

Matt pic's please Around the '' bus stop '' complex all cars will be understeery with too much right boot but apart from that , if it feels 'under' rather than 'oversteering' then wind the rear up 2 or 3 turns then test When you get it as you like it , measure the height under your seat pan about 300mm's from the back of it. If it's around 15mm's higher than under the car's front bottom chassis rail before you sit in it , then you can control the under/over steer by adjusting that height. There are other things of course but it's one that can be done trackside very quickly For two people on board I'd set it at 20mm's minimum(with seats empty of course)

thanks for those tips Rob.

It was late last night after I had finally fixed it all together (a few modifications to fit the Phoenix) and it took some time for me to build up the courage for me to drill holes through my chassis. I have a few more bits and bobs to do before Saturday, but will take some photos and provide you with some notes on the modifications that I needed to make as soon as I have a bit of time.

I could do with someone in the passenger seat who can tell me what needs adjusting suspensionwise on mine, i tend to just leave it as it is.

Having just uprated my springs, I fully intend having a play with settings on Saturday.

The Knobs If you set the rear chassis height (just under your backside ) at around 20mm's higher than under the lowest front chassis rail then set 1/3 total clicks front and 2/3 total clicks rear shocks ---- you wont have a bad set-up to work from . Tyres can't say with accuracy due to so many manufacturers and driver weights . Having said that 16 to 18 psi would be the norm' for our very light weight cars Unless of course you happen to ' rather ' large -- 16st plus then 20psi rears (the car's that is )
Don't spanner too much --- time in the car's more rewarding Just sorry I'm not there for a thrash
